Belle's Buttercream


Belle's Chocolate Buttercream Icing begins with chunks of unsweetened chocolate, stirred slowly over low heat until melted.


While the chocolate cools, the butter and shortening are creamed together until smooth.

Piles of pure cane sugar are then sifted and mixed into the creamed butter.


Sweet cream is added and whipped into the frosting until light and fluffy.

The cooled chocolate is slowly poured onto the creamed butter and mixed together until velvety smooth.
The icing begins! Three moist layers of cake are crowned with the frosting and stacked one on top of the other and wrapped in chocolate buttercream!
Decorative touches and special messages are added before the cake is boxed and delivered.
